# View borehole profile

The view **borehole profile** combines the geological and technical data for a borehole in a single representation. All entries are arranged vertically along the depth axis. Horizontally, these are followed by the **stratigraphic index**, the **backfill** and the section for **well lining** with its multiple strings. On wide-screen monitors, the backfill and the stratigraphic index are also displayed again on the right-hand side.

Above the individual sections, small icons indicate missing or conflicting data. As there is a lot of information in a small space, the view can be zoomed in and out.

## Operation

- Use the **plus buttons** to add new layers, backfills or excavation elements.
- Open an existing element by clicking on it or using the **edit button**.
- Use the **bin button** to delete the relevant element.
- The depth values determine the vertical position and height of an element in the display.
- For layers, new entries can be inserted between existing depth ranges.
- Small warning icons indicate where depth ranges are missing, overlap or other details do not match. Open the relevant area to check and correct the details. Depending on the specific application, these warnings can, of course, be ignored.
- Use the zoom function if individual elements or labels are difficult to read.

The display is automatically updated based on the data entered. Changes are also reflected in the documents based on this data.
