# Customising notifications

This view is used to manage notifications for specific events. For each event, you can specify whether a notification should be sent.

The **‘Select language’** section is used to set the language of the notifications.

Notifications are sent to the email address on file. The address currently in use is displayed above the list of events.

In the **‘Events’** section, individual notifications can be specifically enabled or disabled. These include, for example:

- New invoices or system messages
- Creation of new documents
- Creation of new API keys
- Availability of new versions of the application

These are controlled via the toggles next to the respective entries. If a toggle is enabled, a notification is sent when the event occurs. If the toggle is deactivated, no notification is sent.

Changes are only saved after confirmation via **“Apply changes”**. Clicking **“Close”** allows you to exit the view without applying the changes.

Notes on use:

- Only enable notifications that are actually relevant to your day-to-day work.
- Check that the email address on file is up to date.
- Tailor the language of the notifications to the people who are to receive these emails.
