The data for the **cone penetration test** is recorded in the **Field Tests** section for the relevant borehole.

There, a new entry is created in the **Cone Penetration Tests** section and then updated with the master data and the measurement series.

To ensure a complete pile penetration test record, both the method used, including its technical parameters, and the number of blows per depth interval must be fully documented.

The details are maintained as follows:

- **Create pile penetration test**: A new cone penetration test is added in the **Field Tests** section.
- **Reference**: A unique designation is assigned to the test.
- **Method**: **DPM** is currently supported as the method.
- **Standard**: The documentation follows the structure shown, based on **DIN EN ISO 22476-2**.
- **Starting depth**: The starting depth of the test is recorded in millimetres.
- **Measurement interval**: The interval defines the depth per measurement section, e.g. `100 mm`.
- **Tip cross-section**: The tip cross-section is recorded as a technical parameter.
- **Tip diameter**: The diameter of the tip is documented.
- **Hammer mass**: The hammer mass used is recorded in grams.
- **Drop height**: The drop height is recorded in millimetres.
- **Reason for termination**: If the sounding is terminated prematurely, the reason can be documented.
- **Technician**: The technician responsible, including their signature, is assigned to the sounding.
- **Comments**: Additional notes regarding the procedure or any anomalies can be added in the comments field.
- **Measurement series**: An entry is recorded in the measurement series for each depth section.
- **Depth to**: The depth reached or the interval boundary is documented for each measurement point.
- **Blow count**: In addition, the corresponding blow count is recorded for each depth section.
- **Automatic display**: A graphical representation of the dynamic penetration test is automatically generated from the values entered.

The dynamic probing test thus documents both the standard-relevant master data for the method used and the progression of the blow counts with depth.

Notes on data entry:

- Use a unique reference for each probing test.
- Check that the method, standard and technical parameters are technically consistent.
- Ensure that the starting depth and measurement interval are selected consistently with the measurement series.
- Record the blow counts completely and in ascending order of depth.
- Specify a technician if the document is to be issued with a signature.
