# Information required for a backfilling report

The data for the **grouting log** is recorded in the **Grouting** section for the relevant borehole.

Entries are made within the borehole in the **Backfilling** section, which is located below the drilling sections.

To ensure a complete backfilling log is created, the individual backfilling sections along the borehole depth must be maintained accurately and in a traceable manner.

The details are maintained as follows:

- **Backfill sections**: The backfill is recorded in individual depth intervals using ‘Depth from’ and ‘Depth to’. This allows multiple backfill layers within a borehole to be represented.
- **Backfill material**: The material used is recorded separately for each backfill section.
- **Inner and outer diameters**: Diameter data can also be recorded to describe the position of the backfill within the borehole. These are intended in particular for future enhancements.
- **Multi-layer backfilling (in planning)**: In future, it will be possible to arrange different materials radially within a depth interval, e.g. different backfill materials depending on the distance from the lining. The diameter specifications provided for this purpose already form the basis for this function.
- **Independent entry**: The backfill data is maintained separately and is not automatically transferred from other areas.

Notes on data maintenance:

- Enter the backfill in the actual sequence along the borehole depth.
- Ensure that the depth intervals are complete and consistent.
- Specify the material for each section as precisely as it is to be documented later.
- If necessary, check whether details regarding the borehole lining are already available, so that the backfill can be classified correctly from a technical perspective.
