# Edit drill site

In the **‘Edit Drill Site’** view, you enter the basic information about a drill site. This data forms the basis for overviews in BoreDoc and for subsequent document generation. Multiple boreholes can be assigned to a single drill site.

The name and description are used for unique identification in lists and selection dialogues. Choose names that clearly identify the project, location or contract. The site number can be used as an additional internal or external reference.

Under **Address**, enter the location exactly as it would be entered into a sat-nav, for example. This information appears in documents as a legible description of the location.

The **Client** field includes the customer’s name and address and is included in the generated documents. The **Contractor** contains the contact details of the company carrying out the work, optionally supplemented by an email address, telephone number, website and company logo.

The list of associated drill holes is displayed in the lower section. Drill holes can be added, duplicated or deleted here.
