The **borehole log** is automatically generated from the data recorded in BoreDoc relating to the construction site and the individual borehole. No separate data entry is required specifically for this document.

The content is drawn from the following areas:

- **Construction site (drilling site)**: General details such as site name, address, client, contractor and site number are maintained in the drilling site’s master data.
- **Borehole**: Technical and organisational data such as description, location (coordinates), drilling rig, starting point and work period are recorded directly for the respective borehole.
- **Drilling sections**: The actual content of the drilling log, e.g. depth ranges, tools used, methods, flushing or casing, is recorded via individual drilling sections. Different parameters can be stored for each section, which are presented as a table in the document.
- **Technicians**: The signature displayed in the document is automatically taken from the stored technician data.
- **Legends**: Abbreviations and explanations, e.g. regarding drilling methods or tools, are generated by the system and do not need to be maintained manually.

Changes to the data areas mentioned have a direct impact on the drilling log. To ensure the document is complete, particular care should be taken to maintain the drilling sections accurately and comprehensively.
