The data for the **drilling profile (geothermal)** is compiled from the same sections as for the standard drilling profile.

The geological information is recorded in the **Stratigraphic Index** section, whilst the borehole lining is recorded in the **Casing** section.

The content is maintained as follows:

- **Stratigraphic Index**: The geological sequence of strata is defined by depth intervals in the stratigraphic index. Soil types and their properties are recorded there for each stratum.
- **Lining (Strang)**: For the geothermal probe, the ‘Strang’ section records the full depth range within which the probe was installed. A breakdown into individual components of the geothermal probe, e.g. the probe head, is not necessary.
- **Automatic display**: The graphical representation of the geothermal probe, including typical elements such as the probe head and connections, is generated automatically in the document.
- **Diameter**: The diameter shown in the borehole profile is derived from the available borehole and backfill data.
- **Borehole data**: General details such as the starting point or final depth are taken from the borehole’s master data.

The borehole profile for geothermal energy supplements the geological representation by including the installation of the geothermal probe and automatically generates a suitable graphical view from this information.
